Fit 4 Life Kids is an exciting,
action-packed fitness and nutrition program that teaches kids how to have fun
living a healthy lifestyle. Through the program's "4" core elements
of Fitness Games, Proper Nutrition, Education, and Fun, your child will learn
how to be Fit 4 Life.
Program Goals:

Provide youth and their family members
with the skills and knowledge to make lifelong healthy choices together.

Empower youth to take a leadership role
in positively changing their community.

Encourage youth to share their learned
leadership skills in fitness and nutrition to help others.

Build self-esteem, confidence, and physical
competence.


Each
Fit 4 Life Kids program session involves the following:
- Fitness activities that focus on constant movement, building
self-esteem, developing physical competence and having fun.
- Nutrition activities and lessons that target learning how
to make smart, healthy choices and participating in hands on snack preparation.
- Fun is the main focus in everything we do. It is important
for children to have fun while learning how live a healthy lifestyle.
- Participants will be involved with health and fitness activities
and events that seek to improve their community.
- Healthy snacks provided at each class.
