1. What is the first step I should take
in wanting an personal fitness trainer?
Give us a call or email us and
we will set up your free consultation. At the consultation we want to get to
know you. What are your goals? What have you tried in past that has or has not
worked? Do you see any challenges that may arise? We will also discuss your
health history and provide you with a sample of one of our fun workouts.
2. How much space do I need in my apartment or home for training?
The great thing about making fitness
fun is that you can do it just about anywhere. We train our clients in small
apartments, large homes, the outdoors and in the gyms of their buildings. No
equipment necessary. We will bring it to you.
3. Why should I select an in-home trainer versus going to a gym trainer?
When we ask our clients this same question the
answer is typically one of the 3 C’s – Comfort, Care, and Convenience. There
is no need for you to travel to a gym and no gym memberships are required. Our
clients enjoy the focused, personal care in the privacy of their home.
4. What makes your services different from anyone else?
We focus on quality rather than quantity. We
keep our numbers of clients low on purpose compared to a large gym. Most of
our personal fitness training is the relationships and rapport we build with
our clients. When you are training with us you will find that we are constantly
teaching. We want you to understand why you are doing a particular exercise
and the effects it is having on your body. You are not going to be with us forever
and quite honestly we don’t want you to be. We want you leaving us with the
confidence and knowledge to choose your own path for a healthy lifestyle.
5. How long do I need to work with a trainer to reach my goals?
Many people may have similar goals but all our
bodies are different. If it took you 5 or 10 years to reach an unhealthy weight,
it is going to take some time for you to get back to a healthy weight. Our clients
typically train 2-3 days a week for 6-12 months. After this time, and if you
have dedicated the time needed, you will move into a maintenance phase where
you may only meet with your trainer once a week or a few times a month. Again,
we want you leaving us with the confidence and knowledge to live the healthy
lifestyle that works for you.
6. I travel a lot, but I want to be healthier. What do you recommend?
We realize that many people work a non-traditional
9-5 so we created our On-line Personal Training option for the person on the
go. After an initial consultation and fitness assessment each month you will
receive, via email, your prescribed fitness program. You will also be able to
email us at anytime with any questions you may have.
